When It all Comes Crashing Down

I cannot handle the stress
I cannot handle the anxiety and worry
I cannot handle the present and the future
I cannot handle the different roads
The different ways I may or may not go
The things I should or should not do

I cannot handle the confusion
The Dark cloud that seems to engulf me
I cannot handle going back and forth
I cannot handle lacking a state of peace
All I find are small times of consolation

Where is peace
Where is Joy
Where is hope
All I am finding is doubt
All I am finding is worry

All I want is to be done
To be finished with the worry
I feel like life is swallowing me
I feel like I am often left to fight this by myself

Being single means living on your own
Being single means having to take care of yourself
Being single means being alone
Being single means living in fear
It means coming home to a silent place
It means absence of voice
Absence of laughter in the day and in the night

It means no one to care for you in times of grief
It means no one to share joy with you in those times of success
It means making decisions alone
It means home is being by yourself

It means ministering to others by yourself
It means hoping you will be accepted though you are not attached
It means trusting God can use you
It means having faith others may see you
It means trying to connect with others
It means praying God will heal you
And having hope that others are praying the same

It means taking the burden alone
It means friendships are important
It means life takes work
It means taking the initiative for joy in life
Cause there is no one who will do it for you...

It means taking steps towards joy when you do not feel it
Taking steps towards God when you feel left behind
It means calling friends
Taking time to talk with them
It means playing games
Taking time to refresh yourself
It means not giving up
Taking another breathe and moving forward
It means perseverance
Taking a step of faith
It means trusting God has a plan
Taking me to that place
It means remembering God's faithfulness in the past
Taking me from the present into God's good future

When It All comes Crashing Down....
